Centennial College partnered with The Centre for Active Transportation (TCAT) and Urban Minds to gather data on the current landscape of commuting patterns at Progress Campus, and provide the College with recommendations on how they can encourage greater adoption of sustainable transportation in the future. The study initially focused on active transportation adoption (walking, cycling, etc.) but expanded to include public transit and carpooling due to Centennial’s interest in understanding a broader scope of commuting options outside of single occupancy vehicles. The final report from the study includes 34 recommendations covering policy, infrastructure, and education to encourage sustainable mobility within the college community.<\/p>\n
