To celebrate International Women’s Day 2023, Women in Urbanism highlighted 14 inspiring women who have made impeccable impacts on gender, equity, mobility, placemaking, and housing in Canada.
We are thrilled to share that TCAT’s Project Manager, Jennie Geleff, is recognized as one of 14 Mobilizing Women Impacting Urbanism in Canada for leading Mobilizing Justice workshops to connect and support organizations in learning about transport poverty and advancing transportation equity in Canadian communities. Through these workshops, TCAT convened a network of over 70 community organizations working to support transport equity and increasing modal choice to improve the collective understanding of the experiences of Canadians facing transport poverty and the current on–the–ground priorities, gaps, and community initiatives developed in response.
