2010 Platform

Over a three-month period ending in January 2010, TCAT reviewed the progress made during the term of council from 2006 up to the end of 2009. The purpose of this research was to determine what work still needs to be done for active transportation and to identify emerging and state-of-the art transportation practices for possible application in Toronto, with the intent of updating the TCAT platform accordingly.

In the winter of 2009-10, input into the new platform was also solicited from TCAT's supporting organizations (now over 60) by way of an on-line survey and two public meetings. TCAT's 2010 platform titled Action 2014: Taking the Next Step was released on April 16, 2010. TCAT's top three priorities from the 2010 platform can be found here.
