The Toronto Centre for Active Transportation regularly organizes and participates in events designed to bring multiple stakeholders together to meet and learn about new developments in the field of active transportation.

  • Nancy Smith Lea was invited to speak at the Cycle and Sole rally at Queen's Park on May 11th at 2 p.m.
  • Nancy Smith Lea was invited to present to the "Transportation and Urban Form" graduate class in the Department of Geography and Planning, University of Toronto on April 3, 2013 @ 10:00 a.m.
  • Ryan Whitney was invited by Ecology Ottawa and the Student Federation of the University of Ottawa's Bike Co-op to give a keynote speech at the "Complete Streets for Ottawa" event at the University of Ottawa on March 26, 2013, 5:30-7:00 p.m.
  • Ryan Whitney spoke on an Active Transport/Complete Streets panel at the Ryerson School of Urban and Regional Planning Expo on March 23, 2013, 4:30-6:00 p.m.
